Emma Shipstone

Dr Emma Shipstone joined OGT in April 2014 to lead the marketing team, and moved into her current role as Executive Vice President for Strategic Business Development in May 2021.

Emma is responsible for the identification, evaluation and management of external partnerships and strategic opportunities to help deliver growth for OGT.

Emma has over 20 years’ experience in the life sciences and genomics fields and her experience spans both R&D and Commercial roles from her time at GE Healthcare, formerly Amersham Biosciences.

Prior to joining OGT, she spent 6 years at Affymetrix where she held the position of Senior Director of Marketing leading the European marketing and inside sales teams.
